So, the plan was to spend Friday night at Russ & Mandy's, then start for Maine (via Newport, RI and Boston) Saturday morning, but on the spur of the moment, we decided to leave Friday night. So, midnight Friday finds us in East Hartford in a Sheraton. Mandy is a wizard at Priceline, and she reserved a double room for $60! When we arrive and check in, no double rooms are available. Free breakfast coupons? Hmmm....Russ holds out for a better offer. How about two rooms on the Club level? Two $200-a-night rooms for $60 total? We'll take 'em!
